Coronavirus Keeps Chinese from Travelling To The USA

Coronavirus is spreading like fire all over the world. So, let’s take a look at a few of the most important pointers:

  1. Death of More than 200 People, 9800 people are infected.
  2. Delta and American Airlines are suspending all the flights to or from China.
  3. Chinese officials feel guilty about the outbreak of the virus.

More Than 200 People Have Died with More Than 9,800 infections Confirmed

The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases has gone up with an exponential speed in the past week. On Friday, the Chinese officials reported the highest death toll in 24 hours.

  1. Forty-three more deaths were confirmed. Raising the count of the dead to 213.
  2. Nearly 2000 more cases were recorded in the country in the past 24 hours, raising the worldwide total to almost 9,800. According to the world health organization data, the majority of infectious cases are in China, whereas 100 cases are recorded in 19 other countries.
  3. The first death due to the virus has been confirmed in Tibet. This means that every single one of China’s provinces and territories is infected with the virus.
  4. Countries and Territories Having Confirm Cases: Thailand, Japan, HongKong, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Macau, Russia, France, The United States, South Korea, Germany, The United Arab Emirates, Canada, Britain, Vietnam, Italy, India, Philippines, Nepal, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Finland.

Delta and American Airlines Will Suspend All The Flights From the U.S. to China

Delta Airlines and American Airlines announced on Friday morning that they are suspending all the flights traveling from the United States to China regarding the concerns about Coronavirus spread internationally.

American Airlines declared that every airline in and through China would be immediately suspended till March 27.

Delta Airlines stated that they are planning to ban all airlines from the United States to Mainland China from the 6th of February till the 30th of April.

The last flight to China from the United States will leave on the 3rd of February, while the last one returning to the United States will be on the 5th of February.

Delta became the first airline to completely stop air travel between the two countries, whereas, United Airlines reduced its traffic to Mainland China this week.

The State Department Has Warned Citizens Not To Travel To China

The state department on Thursday night issued a travel advisory telling Americans not to visit China because of the health threats posed by new dangerous Coronavirus.

The department set the new advisory at Level 4, or Red which is the highest level advisory reserved for the most dangerous situations.

“Travelers should be prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect by little or no advance notice.” The State Department issued a statement. They further added, “Commercial Carriers have reduced or suspended routes to and from China.”

The Spokesperson from the Foreign Ministry of China, Hua Chunying, struck back on Friday advising Americans not to travel to China

The World Health Organization decided to declare an outbreak since cases were discovered in more than a dozen countries.
